JAMES EVERETT THOMPSON, 77, of
Jeffersontown, died March 3,
2009, at his home. He was a
computer salesman and a Navy
veteran of the Korean War. He
was a past master and secretary
of the Daylight Lodge #760, past
master of the Shively Lodge
#951, past District Deputy Grand
Master of Kentucky, member of
American Legion Shawnee Post
#193, Kosair, Scottish Rite and
York Rite. He is survived by his
wife, JoAnn (Greenwell)
Thompson; three daughters,
Denise Moody, Suzanne Murphy,
and Melissa Thompson; and four
grandchildren, Shannon Moody,
Dan Moody, Brendan Murphy, and
Kevin Murphy. His service will
be 7:30 p.m. Friday at Owen
Funeral Home-Jeffersontown, 9318
Taylorsville Road. Visitation
will be 1 p.m. until time of
service Friday. Cremation was
chosen. Donations may be made to
Kosair Charities and Hosparus of
Louisville.
Daylight
Lodge #760 Free and Accepted Masons was Chartered on October 18th, 1904.
As we enter our second
Century of Brotherly Love, we also look forward to the future with
confidence that Daylight Lodge will continue to grow and prosper in the
years ahead.
Daylight Lodge meets on
the Second Saturday of every month in the Valley Lodge #511 F&AM Building,
located at 9619 Dixie Highway, in
Louisville, Kentucky 40272.
The Lodge opens at noon
for Dinner and Dessert, followed by Business at 1:00pm, with any Degree Work
to follow if scheduled.
